ARE YOU DREAMING OF FEELING GREAT UPSIDE DOWN?
Since I started doing yoga about 10 years ago, I have dreamed of mastering postures such as the head- and the handstand. But the fear of falling and hurting myself kept me from progressing. As I was giving up the idea of ever getting there, I decided at the beginning of 2020, to put the necessary means to achieve my dream. First, I asked my yoga teacher - Francesca for good advice. Then, I commited to practice on a regular basis, doing specific strength and core exercises to strengthen my arms, my abdominal belt and my shoulder girdle.
With persistence, patience and discipline, I have made a lot of progress. My quest is far from over and I look forward to each "micro-movement" that I discover and master better with every practice upside down.
As the end of the year is approaching we all have our New Year's resolutions and hopes.
So whatever your dream and your age, go for it! Set a goal and empower yourself to get there!
